Travel Diaries: Las Vegas (Work) Edition

“I just got back from Las Vegas…I was working.” The look on everyone’s face when I tell them that is instant judgement and nervous laughter. Working in Las Vegas doing what…? Some people really have to get their head’s out of the gutter – but I love it.

If you follow me on social media, then you might have realized I was travelling and understood my reasoning for no posts this past week! (@kaitlynuy). I apologize for the lack of consistency and preparation, but once again I underestimated my ability to withstand the long days and power through to stay awake. I mean, I’m pretty sure I’ve gone out every single night since being back, so what happened to me?

I’ve never been on an official work trip before, especially one that required me to travel across the country! I was beyond excited, and there are no words that could sum up the gratitude I have for the opportunity to experience something so big and exciting. I feel extremely fortunate and has only amped up my anticipation for what is to come 🙂

People have been asking how Vegas was…was it as exciting and hyped as it’s thought out to be? In all honesty, I still don’t know. I definitely did not experience Vegas in the way it’s “suppose” to be done. My work days were long and exhausting, so the idea of partying hard late at night was not appealing. That being said, we did go out and explore every night – but the amount of pure partying didn’t really occur. I guess this is just an excuse to go back 😉

The reason I was there for the Magic Trade show – which is one of the largest fashion trade shows in North America. I do not have much else to say besides the fact that it was one of the most amazing experiences. So instead, here are a couple pictures to sum up the trip!
